Lake Samish Multisport Weekend!

LAKE SAMISH is located just 6 miles south of Bellingham, WA and can be seen from I5. The lake is four miles long and nestled in verdant, coastal mountains. In August, the water temperature in in the low 70's and perfect for an Open Water Swim event. The swim takes place in the north end of the lake, which is an enclosed bay with a narrow opening into the main lake. During the race, motorized pleasure boats will not be allowed into the race area.

The Lake Samish Open Water Swim takes place on the second day of The Lake Samish Multisport Weekend, for competetive swimmers and triathletes wanting a supported long distance swim training. Click here for Lake Samish Triathlon information.

CAMP LUTHERWOOD IS A PRIVATE CAMP - NO ATHLETES ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER BEFORE RACE DAY. TRAININING FOR LAKE SAMISH CAN BE STAGED FROM LAKE SAMISH PARK.
